Quick Start Troubleshooting Guide

The lock goes into sleep mode to conserve the battery, so you may have to touch the P on the keypad to initiate a ProxCard read. The MicroIQ logo will flash indicating the lock is searching for a valid card. When presenting a ProxCard or RFID tag to the lock it is important to hold the card steady over the number 3 on the keypad. The green LED along with a beep indicates a valid card and the lock will unlock. For additional help, refer to the station mode or locker mode FAQ
A flashing red LED with beeping indicates an invalid card.
If the P on the keypad has been pressed and a card is presented and there are no LEDs or beeps, that indicates that there are no cards learned into the lock.
Possibly battery is dead – replace battery.
Possibly electronics are failed – replace lock.
Possibly battery is dead – replace battery .
Possibly electronics are failed – replace lock.
Possibly battery is low – replace battery.
Possibly electronics or mechanism are failed – replace lock.
Possible codes are corrupted – re-program codes.
Possible codes are corrupted – erase codes by re-programming Master code to 1-2-3-4-5 and re-program codes.
Possibly electronics are failed – replace lock.
Unit is in 2 minute lock-out mode.
Wait 2 minutes and enter a valid keypad code.
